After over 25 years of living, my personality and personal preferences have really started to sink in. But as we know, very rarely in life are things absolute - especially when it comes to people. I have very few favorites in life. Favorite person? My wife Mindy. After that, any "favorites" get kind of fuzzy. So I prefer "Top 10's" with the understand that shifting among those top 10 can happen on any given day. If you "Google" the phrase "Top 10" you will get everything from sports plays to actors/actresses to natural disasters to songs and movies. There's just something about knowing what is the best of the best.
I couldn't really figure out any better reason to do this series than for the pure enjoyment of looking back on it. It's sort of a journal and a time capsule. In years I can look back at this post and say - "Why did I like that actor so much?" And "Oh and this food is so much tastier than that food."
Doing it via my blog allows others to comment or add their own - perhaps items I forgot. So for now - let's see how this Top 10 Series Plays Out.
